Before the MiraDry procedure, ensure to do the following;

Shave both your underarms at least 4 to 6 days before the treatment begins.
Refrain to shave after that so that short hair is noticeable to help identify the area that needs to be treated
Avoid planning to wear a sleeveless shirt in public for at least 1-week post your treatment, since the area will look discolored and swollen temporarily
Ensure to use only mild cleansers
Wash your underarms in the shower every day with a separate cleanser for one week before the procedure begins

Most of the patients experience the procedure to be painless with little or zero downtime. However, the side effects of the treatment can vary from person to person.

Local anesthesia will be given to the underarms before the treatment to increase the patient's comfort. But some people may experience allergic reactions because of anesthesia, which will be temporary
