The shape of your face may be completed by a chin. It completes the form of your face. People frequently assess you based on your chin. A lack of chin or a receding chin indicates a meek, unfinished personality.

Chin augmentation is a plastic surgery procedure that can improve the appearance of your chin. The chin augmentation helps to improve the overall proportions of your face. It can also help to create a more defined jawline. It aids in reducing the double or full chin look caused because of the small chin bone.

At Tamira Life, we perform chin augmentation with implants as well as dermal filler improvements to enhance the chin appearance. Dermal fillers are a safe and effective chin treatment option.  The method applied will be according to your features, expectations, and preference and our plastic surgeon will help you in determining the procedures that work right for you.

Nonsurgical chin augmentation

Needles: The non-surgical procedure involves injecting dermal fillers into the chin to add volume and definition. It is performed under local anesthesia and takes about 30 minutes. The physician will mark the injection sites and then inject the filler into the chin. You may feel some pressure during the injections, but it should not be painful. The physician will then massage the area to ensure that the filler is evenly distributed. You will see the results immediately, and they will last for about six to twelve months. After that, you will need to repeat the chin augmentation filler procedure to maintain the results.

Blunt microcannulas: The cannula consists of a blunt tip needle that acts to reduce tissue trauma. The cannula delivers the filler material more evenly throughout the target area, which can help to create a more natural look. Both cannula and needles provide the best aesthetic results. The microcannulas decrease treatment time and increase volume efficiency.

Chin augmentation with implants

The procedure is performed at a state-of-the-art surgical facility under general anesthesia. It usually takes about 1 hour to complete. First, the surgeon will make an incision either beneath your chin or inside your lower lip. Once the incision is made, a small pocket will be created. The pocket will be the size and shape of the implant that will be placed. After the pocket is created, the chin implant will be inserted. The surgeon will then close the incisions with stitches or surgical tape.
