Intra Lesional Steroid Injections - Male Breast Treatment

What is an intra lesional steroid? An intralesional steroid injection is a corticosteroid like triamcinolone acetonide that is injected immediately beneath the skin or directly into the lesion. The objective of an intradermal injection is to deliver a high dosage of medication into the afflicted region to improve treatment effectiveness while reducing drug side effects throughout the body.

What is mesotherapy? Mesotherapy is a non-surgical cosmetic treatment that combines the use of injections and natural substances like vitamins and minerals to improve skin conditions and boost collagen production. Sometimes medications like antibiotics and vasodilators, hormones like thyroxin and calcitonin, herbal extracts, and enzymes such as hyaluronidase and collagenase are used by the physician. There is no specific standard formula followed in mesotherapy.

Intra lesional or Meso injections are usually administered by a doctor, nurse, physician's assistant, or dermatologist. The patient lies face down on an exam table and the injection site is sterilized to prevent infection. Once the skin is prepared, you will feel pressure as the needle penetrates your dermis (the second layer of skin). You may experience mild stinging or pain during the injection but medication should be administered in small amounts so this should only last a few seconds.

Treatments

Arms:  Certain body parts refuse to slim down and the lower and upper arms often fall into that category. Those who have tried unsuccessfully to tone their arms can utilize meso fat injections to get rid of extra fat on the arms.

Legs: The outer and inner thighs are often resistant to slimming efforts, which can lead to redness and swelling of the skin. Reducing cellulite in these parts is difficult. Meso injections can be used to eliminate the bumpy, raised appearance of these negative fat areas.

Abdomen:  Meso injections for weight loss can also be used in and around the abdomen and waistline to target excess fat there and reduce it significantly. The solution breaks up the walls of fat cells so that they will be flushed away naturally by the body's lymphatic system.

Chin: Double chin or a weak jawline can greatly affect one's facial structure. Meso injections target this area of the body and dissolve fat cells here to improve definition in the face. It is a safe and good option for accomplishing a more toned and proportionate appearance.

Meso injection for cellulite: Cellulite is a particular problem for those who have thinner skin and fat that lies close to the surface. Meso injections destroy the walls of these fat cells so that they can be naturally flushed away by the body's lymph drainage system. By breaking down the walls, mesotherapy makes it possible for this area of fat to be burned off at a higher rate.

Hair:  Mesotherapy is also used to help those who suffer from hair loss. Low doses of the solution are injected into a problem area so that it will find its way to the scalp and form a protective mesh over the cells there, protecting them from further damage and encouraging new growth.
