Lower eyelid Blepharoplasty - Eyelids Treatment

Eye bag surgical procedure, otherwise called lower eyelid blepharoplasty, is a cosmetic methodology that adjusts the swelling or puffiness of the skin, overabundant fat, and any fine lines or wrinkles of the lower eye region. Lower eyelid surgical procedure works towards eliminating excess fat and skin and sewing the skin under the eye back together, giving the under eye region a more tighter and younger looking appearance.

The area under the eye is generally fragile, including the eye muscles and the actual eyeball. The surgical procedure requires a fragile, exact way to shrink the lower eyelid fat bags and cause it to show up less puffy. Just like any other major surgeries, during the lower eyelid blepharoplasty recovery, you may experience some swelling, bruising and distress.

Before the treatment begins, the doctor will check and mark your eyelids. This will assist the doctor with knowing where to make cuts. They will generally have you sit up straight so they can see your eye bags clearer.

While the site of incisions might vary based on the concerns, the doctor will make cuts into the lower lid, once the eye area has been numbed using a local anesthesia. Your doctor will then, at that point, eliminate overabundant skin and fat, and stitch or sew the skin back together to make a lifted, smoother eye appearance.
