Ultherapy is a non-invasive, FDA-cleared ultrasound treatment that uses ultrasound energy to lift and tone the skin on the brow, chin, and neck and enhances wrinkles and lines on the chest. It works by stimulating the body's production of collagen, which leads to firmer, healthier-looking skin. There is no downtime associated with the procedure, and it can be done in a single session.

Some of the benefits of Ultherapy non-invasive procedure are:

  • Minimal preparation
  • No general anaesthesia or incisions are required
  • The time taken to complete the procedure is around 30 minutes to 90 minutes
  • In most cases, the recovery time is very less

As per a clinical study, more than 65% of patients reported being satisfied or very happy with the results they noticed after three months of treatment. Most patients reported noticing improvement approximately after two to four months of the ultherapy

The procedure is performed by a licensed medical professional, such as a dermatologist or plastic surgeon. During the procedure, ultrasound gel is applied to the treatment area and a small device is placed against the skin. The device emits ultrasound energy, which focuses on various depths influencing three layers such as superficial wrinkles, skin, and muscle. This heat stimulates the body's production of collagen, which leads to lifted, toned skin.

During the ultherapy procedure, the patient may experience intermittent or quick sensations of heat. If you are experiencing discomfort, pain medications may be recommended. The applicator will be removed after the procedure.

A single ultherapy session may take around 60 minutes to 90 minutes and it depends upon the treatment. This treatment is mostly targeted on the chest, neck, and face. Some of the other treatment areas include decolletage or chest area, under the chin, and eyebrows.

Some of the medical conditions that may be treated with ultherapy include:
